From the Washington D.C. Area . . .

M & M Mountain Retreat is about 1 and 1/2 hours drive from the Capital Beltway. From the Beltway, proceed on I-66 West, then take I-81 South towards Roanoke.

Drive approximately 20 miles to Edinburg, Exit 279. From the off ramp, turn left onto Stoney Creek Boulevard. When you reach the end, turn right onto Route 11 South towards Mount Jackson.

Take your first left onto Palmyra Church Road for about 2.4 miles off of Route 11. You will cross over the river and pass an air strip on your right.

Palmyra Church Road will curve to the left and West Edinburg Reservoir Road wil veer to the right. Do not turn onto West Edinburg Reservoir Road! Continue down the road for 1/4 of a mile, until the road curves to the right. Straight ahead is a gravel road (East Edinburg Reservoir Road); go straight up the gravel road and follow it to the end. Our home will be the house on the left.

I-81 runs North and South through the Shenandoah Valley. If traveling from the South, I-64 and beyond, proceed to I-81, take Exit 279. From the off ramp take a right onto Stoney Creek Boulevard the follow the directions above.
